While most of lawyers work in a full time basis in a office, work for long hours as they prepare for a case and meet clients or other individual that related to a case. In opposite, most personal injury lawyer works for private practice.

There are many young people who want becoming a personal injury lawyer. 

They are also considering their options for practice areas. It may seems like a hard career to become. But it’s actually very possible. Here’s some steps you can do and on becoming a personal injury lawyer.

1. Get a degree


The first step you have to take for becoming a personal injury lawyer is getting your degree in a four-year school. You can’t become a personal injury lawyer or even other kind of lawyer without getting a degree.

2. Get a good GPA and LSAT score


Getting a degree in a four-year school is not enough without getting a good GPA and LSAT score. You have to make sure your excel. It’s getting crucial when you want to get into a law school. If you have both, you will get good chance to get into a very good law school and kickstart your career becoming a personal injury lawyer.

3. Complete law school


Once you get into a law school, you have to through it. It typically takes three years, once you get through, you’d have spent seven years in school. Law school is expensive, but most people take loans to pay for it. It will be worth it for most when they becoming a personal injury lawyer.

4. Network and gain experience


The most important step in becoming a personal injury lawyer is networking and gaining an experience. Meet each other, get information and associated with it. It will prove key in getting your first few jobs and clients in future.

5. Pass the BAR exam


There is one more step in the way, that is to pass the bar exam. The bar exam certifies you as a personal injury lawyer in your state. Without passing this exam, you won’t get certified that legally allowed to practice any kind of law.

You technically can start your own firm, but it’s very hard to do. On your first job, you will get more experiences, know everything about becoming a personal injury lawyer.
